The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) is looking for male students. As we know, mentoring at a community college is key in promoting students’ success. CSN will be launching their first male mentoring program which focuses on Black and Latino males. The purpose of the mentoring program is to provide underrepresented males with the tools and support they need (1) become acclimated to college and community life, (2) make supportive/personal connections with other students, faculty, and college staff, (3) become aware of/utilize campus supportive services/resources, and (4) achieve continued academic success. The program is a two-year commitment that has two tracks: college and career readiness.
